Residential Service Upgrades
200 to 400 amps. Ready for what's coming.
Most houses here were wired for 100 amps and a handful of circuits. An EV, an induction range, a hot tub, and a home office change that math fast. We size the service, pull the permit, coordinate with the utility, and hand you a panel that is labelled, grounded, and to code — 200 to 400 amp upgrades.
Capacity evaluation
A load calculation on the house as it stands, and as you plan it.
Meter main and panel
New service entrance, panel, breakers, and grounding electrode system.
Permits and utility
Paperwork, utility coordination, and the inspection appointment.
EV and big-load circuits
Charger, range, dryer, and HVAC circuits sized for real use.
Protection
GFCI and AFCI where code requires, plus whole-home surge protection.
Rewires and new circuits
Knob-and-tube replaced, new circuits run, panel schedule documented.

200–400 Amp Service

Signs you need an upgrade
Breakers trip together
The EV and the dryer cannot run in the same hour.
An old panel or fuse box
Stab-Lok, Federal Pacific, or fuses that still get replaced.
Only 100 amps at the meter
The math for what you own does not fit the service.
Two-prong outlets
No ground, no GFCI in the kitchen or baths.
A remodel is planned
A new kitchen or EV charger needs capacity, not a workaround.
Power strips everywhere
The house was never wired for the way it is used.
